WE'RE ALL 956

WE'RE ALL 956

WE'RE ALL 956

You know what really bugs me? People who think they're better than others. I hate it when I hear,

"Oh, you're from Donna? You must be ghetto and poor."

Or when I hear,

"There's a big difference between people from McAllen and people from, let's say San Juan."

Or when I hear,

"All the better people are from McAllen, Mission and Sharyland."

NEWS FLASH PEOPLE. WE'RE ALL 956. WE'RE ALL FROM THE VALLEY.

Whether you like it or not, these entire four counties are considered one of the poorest counties in the nation. Whether you're from Sharyland or Donna, you're phone number starts with a 956, so we're all considered one. People who aren't from the Valley aren't going to cherry pick the better cities. If anything, McAllen and Harlingen are the more recognized cities because of its airports, but other than that, if you're from South Texas you're all lumped as one.

We all shop at the same mall, and go to the same movies, and give business to the very limited establishments down here, so why act like you're from another state or country, when we live 15 minutes away from each other?

YOUR ZIP CODE DOESN'T DEFINE YOUR WORTH.

Your attitude, attention to detail, sincerity and humility does.

Just a little food for thought guys. You know I love you all and it just upsets me when people tell me, wow you don't look like you're from Donna.

It's just really upsetting when people who live 5-15 minutes away from me, think they're of higher value.
