THE COOLEST ✨POP UP✨ OF THE YEAR

If you've followed my blog, you know I am a colossal supporter of small businesses. I admire people who envision a better future for the Valley and put into practice capitalism at it's finest. Mali Corpus, owner of The Glass House Store, in collaboration with Top Trenders, hosted the coolest POP UP of the year. The entrance level of the bar was completely transformed into the ultimate shopping experience. We were greeted by an assembly line of mimosas by the bar, Mali, in her usual, daring ensemble, and colorful racks of the latest trends. I arrived a little too late for some of the larger sizes, but I did manage to score two cute blouses that I plan on shooting for my birthday. Did I mention I'm turing twenty soon? I can't wait to reveal what I bought, here's a hint, ruffles and pink.

I'M WEARING

You might be asking yourself, why I went to a bar in jeans and a long-sleeved blouse? Why not wear a black dress and heels, right? Or go a little extra with my makeup? I'm a minimalist who believes in going against the expected. I don't like drawing attention to myself if I'm new to a location. I like to keep a low profile, observe, and report. It's important for me to be comfortable with myself anywhere I go. I don't like feeling insecure or self conscious., that's why I went with the familiar, boyfriend jeans, studded sandals, and dramatic sleeves.

UP ON THE ROOF

This was my first time at ROOF 324. My overall experience, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. The ambiance was awesome! I enjoyed every detail the owner put into the place. From the neon signs, to the rustic exposed brick walls, the Edison bulbs hanging over the DJ, and the hollywood-looking signage that lit up the entire terrace after nightfall. The space is rather small, giving it an intimate feel that allows for face-to-face mingle time with others. The Bartenders, DJ, and Photographers all seemed so effortlessly chic. Everyone was in sync with the DJ's tune, and the mimosas kept flowing like an never ending river. You'd think that we'd be crazy to congregate on a roof, during a hot, July, summer day; but the weather was near perfect. The open outdoor space allowed for a cool breeze that lets you really enjoy yourself in the presence of other fashionable locals. It was honestly one of my most refreshing experiences this summer.

Always think about things differently.
