If there's something I hate, it's looking like a try-hard. I used to get teased a lot when I would wear vibrant glitter eyeliners, and Nicki Minaj lipsticks because they were a little too daring for my style. I've learned that I look my best when I wear less. That is why I love using these few products because they help me create a naturally-tanned look that's perfect for everyday occasions.
For even coverage, I use MAYBELLINE BB CREAM in either light or light medium. It really just depends on how I apply it, they both end up looking the same on me. It's very airy & smooth. It's not at all sticky nor does it clump when applied. I definitely recommend using MAYBELLINE's BB Cream, especially if you have oily skin. I've tried others and after I apply it, it mixes with my already oily skin and makes me look like I just finished running a marathon. I mean, yeah, I like to look like I'm working, but not sweating! lol
Ok, so like I said, I'm not a fan of the heavy makeup, however, a girl needs a little help now & then - especially with all of these finals, closing shifts, & procrastination by getting distracted with SCANDAL! I use this FULL COVER CONCEALER by MAKE UP FOR EVER Color Golden Beige 10. I only use it when combined with the BB Cream because if I use it alone I'll look like a pale ghost!
Mix 1 - 2 drops of the Full Cover Concealer with your BB Cream to create a slightly thicker coverage for those dark eye bags ladies. If they're not designer, we don't like them! lol
I'm using this new color for spring because I want to go for a more peachy look. I got a little bored with the pinky-looking blush, so I'm using 05 LUMINOSO x MILANI. It's great mean combined with the other bronzer in the pictures above. It's not too obvious, it's very subtle when I wear it, I just absolutely love it.
This is probably one of the best things I've stolen from my mom's makeup bag. It's the perfect way to say hello to spring! If you're looking for a way to sprice up your daly makeup routine, use this deliciously cucumber scented mascara from RIMMEL. Not only does it smell great, it holds up all day, too!
Finally, my latest purchase was a YSL Rouge Volupté lipstick. I debated whether or not to buy it because so any other bloggers had so any conflicting opinions about its quality, but the best way to judge something is to try it yourself. Here is my review : IT COULD BE BETTER. Not only does it smear off easily, it doesn't smooth on the lips as it should. I have to mix it with my MILANI Matte Innocence lipstick to make it last a little longer. On the other hand, the YSL tube is too darn cute to not pull out at dinner! "Would you buy another?" Umm . . . YEAH [ but maybe in a MATTEE shade to test if it'll last longer!!! ] And as always, I've listed a more affordable lipstick by MILANI so that y'all can still have that cute little gold tube when it's time to apply again.
